ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Ventilation Attic ventilation and insulation play an important role in moisture, condensation, roof life and so much more - truly a key factor in how your home is functioning.
Roof The type, style, layers, quality, installation and more are checked. A visual inspection of both the exterior roof and the attic area is performed.
Heating and Cooling Howard looks at the age, condition and safety of both the heating and cooling systems. In most cases, these are the most utilized appliances in the home. The wrong burn pattern and moisture production can cause premature heat exchanger failure and possibly carbon monoxide.
Structure Howard completes a visual inspection on the inside and outside of the structure from the attic to the foundation.
Drainage Inadequate or reversed drainage and grading cause most water problems. Proper gutters and downspouts are another important part of moisture control.
Electrical Howard checks GFI's, ARC faults, non-grounded three prong outlets, open wiring, breaker style, undersized services, reverse polarity and know and tube. However the panel cannot be opened without cause.
Plumbing Inadequate water flow, water pressure and drainage are just the start of the inspection.
Mold Potential molds are identified but not tested on-site.

Home Inspections DO NOT include hot tubs, swimming pools, underground sprinklers, alarm systems, wood burners, city sewers, or well and septic systems.
